Recruitment
It is the responsibility of all members of The YoungWorld region to help in recruiting new people.
In the past the membership in the region and on the forum has dropped away whenever recruitment was not actively bringing new people and their nations into our region.
In building up our region we need to find and recruit new members to keep the region fresh and enjoyable for everyone. New members bring new ideas, new challenges and new friendships. New members will also help recruit others, join our Army and Senate and relieve some of the work load associated with running a region.
Recruitment is the key to the success of the region.
If anyone has any ideas for a recruitment message, or knows of anyone who would like to join, then please let us know. _________________

wonder if we could persuade FRA to let us use the Commonwealth site for recruiting. It shows all the unrecruited nations in the feeders and really speeds up the whole process. _________________

Would be great if that could happen. I think having TYW back and prominent again would be good for NS as a whole. I have been seeing a lot of "oldies" coming back as of late |

Here is a rough draft of something I just whipped up:
The remains of a very old region have recently been discovered - [region]The YoungWorld[/region]. This once historic region is being unearthed as I speak, and we need you to help us rebuild and reshape it into it's former glory! Both new, and older experienced nations are welcome to come join in the fun!

Good plan DYP... I love the fact that TYW now controls Lazarus! Perhaps we should open an Embassy for good measure.
BB posts links on the Lazarus RMB daily with links to One Big Island... no reason we can't do the same... people still spam the Pacifics too with recruitment messages and links I'm sure.
I wonder if DYP can drag a few of his endorsements over here when he comes home at the end of his reign of terror / peaceful democratic leadership. _________________

K, so I have been moving my recruit nation around and have been sending TG's everywhere it's legal, but I'm gone till monday so some help would be awesome. Just be careful with TWP. I've already been banned from there and have had an interesting exchange of TG's with the punk reloaded. His name fits him. I think we're now at war lol _________________

Oh not again! Didn't we just pass a resolution to condemn Punk Reloaded?
On a brighter note, it would appear we have been successful in our recruiting campaign so far...
The Holy Empire of Houghtonham arrived from The North Pacific.
The Holy Empire of Houghtonham departed this region for New York.
Technically our first recruit... though the nation only stayed for 10 minutes or so. Never the less, for that 10 minutes we had reached 25 nations, 13 more that there were at the same time last week!
Keep up the good work and more will come, and plenty will stay. _________________

Well done everyone word is getting out! and bring on Punk reloaded!
I refuse even now during building to let anyone cause problems for TYW. Our numbers may be small right now but the intelligence in this forum more than counterbalances!
We must just learn from experience and in future research the implications of a resolution before we vote on it. _________________ - A gem is not polished without rubbing, nor a man perfected without trials- |
