So Fort Europe what makes you the best possible choice for this position?

What will you do as Head of the Senate to help TYW move forward?

Thus far you running remain unopposed why do you think that is?

The people of TYW are caught in a net! Will anyone stand up against him? Or will this crusader sail all the way to the head of the senate? Only time will tell....

I, Fort Europe, wish to stand for election for the position of Head of the Senate.

The head of the YoungWorld Senate will be required to play a pivotal role in the rebuilding of the region in conjunction with the elected region Delegate. The head of the Senate is required to moderate and oversee the deliberations of the senate as a whole, as well as the general running of regional and interregional politics.

It is my belief that I have the ability and the amiable respect of this forum community to help build this region back up to its once glorious stature. I believe that I am the best for this position at this present time as I am active, and capable of committing to the tasks at hand. I also feel that with the support of the region as a whole, anything is possible, and we will once again be able to proudly say that The YoungWorld is the best region in NationStates!

To explain why I am thus far unopposed in running for this election, it may just be that I am the first to respond, or that word has not yet spread that the YoungWorld is back and is being rebuilt. Perhaps it is because people want to hear what I have to say first, or maybe because it is a Thursday. I am not sure, but it is my hope that more people will join us here and will vote for me, or stand against me in fair competition, and I too wish them luck.

Finally I would like to point out that the Head of the Senate is not the region's Delegate, who will be voted for separately by the elected members of the senate.

Thank you very much DS. My first act as the head of the senate I am sure will be to oversee the election of a new delegate for The YoungWorld. I will also be working on a charter for the senate which will hopefully become our new constitution which will be voted for by all members of the new senate.

Together we will start again, and together we will deliver this region to greatness once more.
