The YoungWorld Senate

Would you like to be a member of The YoungWorld Senate?

To qualify to become a member couldn't be simpler, all you require is:

* An account on NationStates
* A nation located within The YoungWorld region (or active with TYW Army)
* WA membership for that nation

If all three of those apply to your nation, then simply write your nation's name below and Senate membership will be granted as soon as possible.

FAQ's

What do the Senate do?

The Senate deal with all things to do with the NationStates World Assembly. They vote on WA resolutions which effect all WA members, and hold regular elections for a new region Delegate.

Do I have to be in a forum Guild?

No. The Knights Guild and the Assassins Guild compete to have one of it's members as the region Delegate, but you don't have to associate with either in order to participate. It is possible to become the region's Delegate without joining a forum guild.

What happens if I leave the World Assembly?

If you decide to leave the World Assembly, then you will also need to leave the Senate. However, if your nation has simply ceased to exist through inactivity, you will be allowed a weeks grace to revive it and reapply for World Assembly membership. We would hope that members of the Senate do stay active as often as possible, but it is understood that it is not always possible with real life to contend with

Not at all DYP... as long as you're a member of TYW Army, then you are most welcome to join the Senate. You will simply be listed as on active duty with the Army outside TYW region.

I think its about time I reenter to Senate after a very long leave of absence.

I am currently awaiting approval for membership in the WA and once that is done I will let y'all know.
