I propose that the "Hi there newbie" thread title be changed to just "Welcome to the forum" - be pinned, and include a little forum information consisting of "welcome, we offer this, that, questions can be directed to (nations, merlins lab) etc
Thoughts? |

A good proposal, which I will gladly second Sir Lans...
I would suggest yourself or a volunteer should create a "Welcome to the forum" thread with all that information as soon as possible as some recruiting is on its way. When DS logs in next she can pin it. The "Hi there newbie" thread can be kept or deleted as the moderator of that area chooses.
In future, I can any forum related proposals and votes should be posted in the council area. The main priority for the senate is for NS debates which primarily effect the region, the Delegate and WA members... If it needs further deliberation from the Senate, which I don't really think this does, then that can be decided on an issue by issue basis. I will detail this further in the charter. _________________

Yeah, ok, I can create the message and propose that it replaces the "hi there newbie"
I just want this place as dialed in as possible before anyone...*new* arrives |

Of course... don't we all. And we all want new people to arrive...
The reason I suggest posting forum proposals in the Council is partly because when looking for people to volunteer to do things, the council has a wider potential audience than the 5 current members here. _________________

This is just DS introducing herself to the new people so therefore is not a welcome message. if you would like to write up and post a welcome message feel free and i will pin it. thankyou
