It appears that our new forum is occasionally unavailable for short periods, probably due to server maintenance or minor technical problems.

I'm sure this is not a major problem, although a little annoying. So it might be useful to record any noticed down time when ever it occurs.

Today Wed 24 Aug 2011 between 0800 and 0945 BST

I dont understand why you would keep track of downtime that no-one knows is coming and no-one can do anything about.

The disadvantages of having a free forum im afraid.

Of course. It might just be useful to know if there are specific times or days that it is down on and approximately how long it likely to be down for.

If a pattern can be found, then it may at least forewarn of possible down times, and prevent some of the frustration of not knowing when it will return.
